TulaHealth Launches Community Digital Health Strategy with Ministry of Health in Guatemala

On Monday November 9, 2020, TulaHealth and the Ministry of Health launched a roadmap for the community digital health strategy in Guatemala. The event focused on the contributions that TulaHealth’s community digital health system has made to primary health care in Guatemala as a blueprint for strengthening primary health services in rural areas of Guatemala.

The official announcement by the Ministry of Health is another step on the path to institutionalizing community digital health strategies within the Ministry of Health and has received broad support from multilateral and other bilateral donors. TulaHealth’s community digital Health system has been critical in the ongoing delivery of primary health services for sexual and reproductive health in rural communities during the COVID19 pandemic.

We look forward to strengthening our work with the Ministry of Health in Guatemala and continuing to find innovative ways to support frontline health workers and the communities they work in.
