TulaSalud

TulaSalud is a sister-organization of TulaHealth established in Coban, Guatemala in 2008. Strengthened by more than 15 years of experience working with the Ministry of Health in Guatemala in education and training, TulaSalud is responsible for the technical development and implementation of project activities and monitoring of project implementation and results. TulaSalud is also responsible for liaising with Guatemalan institutions; promoting effective communication with national health authorities.

Global Affairs Canada

Global Affairs Canada

Global Affairs Canada is responsible for managing the Government of Canada's diplomatic and consular relations, international trade, and international development and humanitarian assistance around the world. GAC co-finances TulaHealth’s <em>Scaling-Up MNCH in Guatemala 2016 - 2020</em> initiative through its partnership funding for international assistance. GAC, via the Embassy of Canada to Guatemala, also assists TulaHealth in its efforts to coordinate with MSPAS.

MSPAS

MSPAS

The Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance&nbsp;(Ministerio de Salud Pública y Asistencia Social, or MSPAS)&nbsp;is responsible for formulating the policies and enforcing the legal regime related to preventive and curative health in Guatemala and to the protective actions, promotion, recovery and rehabilitation of physical health and mental health of the inhabitants of the country. TulaHealth’s project activities are designed and implemented in coordination with MSPAS, and conform to the primary health objectives and strategies established by MSPAS and the Government of Guatemala.
